Last week, winners of the annual Partnership for Excellence in Contract Administration Awards, co-sponsored by AGCW and WSDOT, were announced at the WSDOT/AGC annual meeting.

AGC’s Government Affairs Committee is pleased to announce that State Senator Sharon Brown is AGC of Washington’s 2018 Legislator of the Year.

Osborne Construction Company was honored at AGC of Washington's 2018 Annual Convention Luncheon with the Leader of the PAC award for being the 2017 top contributor to the AGC’s BUILD PAC.

AGC presented its 2017 Legislator of the Year Award to Senator Lynda Wilson during its January 26 Annual Convention.

WSDOT and AGC announced the 2017 Partnership for Excellence in Contract Administration Award winners during the AGC/WSDOT 2018 annual meeting.

Senator Guy Palumbo (D-1) was honored as a “Champion of Construction” by the Associated General Contractors (AGC) of Washington on October 12. AGC recognized Palumbo for his work to sponsor and secure passage of legislation to promote workforce training and apprenticeship programs.

The awards, presented annually at the AGC/WSDOT annual meeting, recognize and encourage extraordinary achievements by the contractor/WSDOT partnership responsible for delivering transportation projects in a timely, professional and responsive manner while also considering the needs of others who are affected by the project.

AGC of Washington's 2016 Legislator of the Year, Senator Mark Schoesler, is a true leader in Olympia who solves problems and gets things done.

The Center for Women and Democracy's annual "kicking Up Our Heels" event was held on March 8 at the Governor's Mansion in Olympia.

Nearly 150 people attended the AGC/WSDOT annual meeting on Jan. 7. Attendees heard valuable information about upcoming WSDOT and Sound Transit projects, the workings of the various AGC/WSDOT committees, WSDOT’s project delivery method selection guidance, and the challenges of IMCO’s I-90 and Atkinson’s Puyallup River bridge projects. Also, awards were announced for the Partnership for Excellence in Contract Administration Awards.
