AGC’s BUILD PAC honors top PAC supporters

Osborne Construction Company was honored at AGC of Washington's 2018 Annual Convention Luncheon with the Leader of the PAC award for being the 2017 top contributor to the AGC’s BUILD PAC. Matt Osborne accepted the award on behalf of the firm.

AGC’s BUILD PAC also acknowledged these firms for contributing over $2,500 to the PAC in 2017:

Korsmo Construction

PAC Senior Council Chair Brett Ferullo (Northwest Construction) explained the importance of the PAC.

“Right now in Olympia, legislators are discussing carbon taxes, requirements that contractors track the carbon output of the building material they choose, measures to give unions veto power over communications between employers and workers and more,” Ferullo said. “Meanwhile, the Legislature has passed, finally, a $4-billion construction budget, and helped rural economies by addressing water-rights issues. The point is, for both good and ill, government has a profound effect on our industry. That’s why we need to elect people who have a general understanding of our industry and who will give us a fair hearing when we have concerns.”
