CWU honors AGC's Mandi Kime

AGC Safety Director Mandi Kime was honored as a distinguished volunteer by CWU President Dr. James L. Gaudino and the College of Education and Professional Studies Dean Dr. Connie Lambert at the 2014 Volunteer Appreciation Celebration.

Mandi (second from right in photo) was honored particularly for her work on CWU’s Safety and Health Management (SHM) Industry Advisory Council as well as for her collaboration with CWU on a Department of Labor & Industries Safety & Health Investment Projects (SHIP) grant. Mandis prior SHIP grant experience and proven results were key to the securing the grant.

In her acceptance speech Mandi – an alumnus of CWU’s SHM program – acknowledged that her involvement in revitalizing CWUs SHM program would not be possible without the support of a wonderful employer that values safety and workforce development.
