WSDOT announces SR-520 grand-opening events

The SR-520 Floating Bridge and Landings Project held a media event on Jan. 12 as a “save the date” announcement for the grand opening on April 2 and 3. They will also be launching the event website as well as registrations for the fun run and bike ride that will be held during the grand opening weekend.

In February, they will also announce the presenting sponsors of the grand opening, publicize the event schedule and describe the event’s family-friendly activities, launch new sections on the event website, including the full list of sponsors and donors, unveil exciting public contests that will be part of the grand opening; and provide other details and event logistics such as parking locations and shuttle routes...
