L&I says new system makes it easier to meet requirements

L&I has announced that contractors now have access to a completely redesigned system that makes it easier to meet requirements on public-works projects.

With the Contractors’ Portal, contractors can view the status of L&I’s release of retainage and the certificate to release retainage. Users can also quickly verify multiple contractors at once, including L&I’s contractor-license status, workers’-comp status and any debarments from bidding on public-works projects.
