AGC shows support for CTE funding

AGC member Bob Adams, of Guy F. Atkinson Construction, testified recently before the Senate Early Learning K-12 Education Committee in support of funding for CTE (career and technical education) programs in middle and high schools.

Adams shared a personal story on how one of his superintendents from Puyallup had participated in CTE programs in high school and, because of this interest, went into the construction industry. This gentleman moved his way up through the trades and recently worked as a superintendent on a project in his community of Puyallup. Click here to watch Bob’s testimony.
