AGC of Washington endorses Bill Bryant for Governor

AGC of Washington has endorsed Bill Bryant for Governor in 2016. AGC’s Board of Trustees voted to endorse Bryant during its Nov. 9 meeting.

“We are pleased to endorse Bill Bryant,” said AGC Executive Vice President David D’Hondt. “We appreciate Governor Inslee’s efforts to secure passage of the 2015 state transportation package, but on balance we believe Bill offers the better approach to improving the state’s business climate going forward.”

AGC’s Board made the endorsement that included outreach to AGC’s members for input, and interviews with both Bryant (photo, L) and Gov. Inslee (photo, R).

“Bill is a pragmatic, proven coalition builder,” D’Hondt said. “Like our members, Bill is a business leader, founding and growing a company that operates on both sides of the mountains. He’s been an innovative local government leader who balances the state’s values of economic growth and conservation.”
