AGC ACTION ALERT: Support the King Amendment to remove CWA/PLA from carbon-tax bill

Urge your State Senator to SUPPORT the King Amendment to remove CWA/PLA from the carbon-tax bill (SB 6203)

Contact your State Senator now to protest Project Labor Agreement (referred to as "community workforce agreements) language that has been tucked within the carbon-tax bill (SB 6203).

You may have concerns about the tax itself (and feel free to tell your Senator that!), but the more urgent matter is that part of the revenue raised by the bill would be spent on capital projects, giving priority to those with a community workforce agreement (or PLA). Doing so would raise the cost of those projects and exclude much of the industry's workforce from participating in those projects.
