Arlington modified-duty center opens
AGC Retro has moved one of its modified-duty centers to Arlington.
This is an excellent light-duty option for people restricted from performing modified duties at your jobsite. Workers study the core safety codes and can receive CPR/first aid certification flagger certification OSHA ten-hour training and introductory to blueprint reading. They can even complete their GED while in the center.
Some of the program is portable for use at your office jobsite or even at the workers home if the worker is amenable. Hours for work billed to the Department of Labor and Industries under this program can be billed under an existing administrative-type risk-class code due to the low risk of injury in a classroom-type setting. Members have also used the portable curriculum successfully in Oregon and Alaska for light duty.
The new center is located at 3405 172nd Street NE Suite 8 Arlington WA 98223; phone 360.454.0353. Hours are 6:00 am to 2:30 pm Monday through Friday.
