Thom Sicklesteel Honored by AGC Board

AGC’s Board of Trustees honored Thom Sicklesteel President of Sicklesteel Cranes with an Award of Appreciation at its April 11 meeting.

Thom was acknowledged “for outstanding contribution and dedication to educating the construction industry on crane safety” said AGC President Pat McGarry. “Thom has donated countless hours to reviewing and condensing the state’s crane rules into something that our members can turn into action on a jobsite” McGarry added. “It’s an understatement to say that Thom has a large amount of technical knowledge about cranes. And he did all this work on the regs and easily could have kept it to himself for the benefit of his company. But instead he freely shared the knowledge with AGC members and helped AGC Safety staff develop tools for the industry.”
