You're Invited to SR 520 Bridge Tour

The Washington State Department of Transportation is beginning the contracting process for construction of the new SR 520 floating bridge. WSDOT would like to invite you to a tour of the bridge during the weekend when it will be closed for annual maintenance and inspection.

This valuable opportunity will offer interested contractors and consultants a close-up view of the current floating bridge the interior of the pontoons and an approach structure.

WSDOT is preparing to issue a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) in August 2010 and a Request for Proposals (RFP) in late October 2010 for the SR 520 Evergreen Point Floating Bridge and Landings Project.

11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

The tour will begin and end in Bellevue

RSVP by sending an email to SR520Bridge@wsdot.wa.gov no later than Aug. 13. Attendees will receive a confirmation e-mail with more details prior to the tour.
