Building the Future: Contractor Breakfast with CITC

Join us for a collaborative breakfast meeting where the Construction Industry Training Council of Washington (CITC) will share an overview of their mission, programs, and services — and how they’re working to better serve contractors throughout Central Washington.

This event is designed to strengthen connections between contractors and training providers while identifying workforce development needs unique to our region.

Enjoy a complimentary breakfast, network with peers, and engage in an open conversation with CITC representatives about workforce training, apprenticeship, and future opportunities for collaboration.

During this session, CITC representatives will:

Give an overview of CITC — who we are, our mission, and why we came into existence.
Take the mystery out of apprenticeship by explaining how apprenticeship programs really work and how contractors can participate.
Clarify the RCWs and WACs that govern apprenticeship in Washington State, helping employers better understand compliance and regulatory requirements.
Highlight training opportunities beyond apprenticeship, including continuing education and workforce development programs available to employers and their teams.
Seek contractor feedback on short training courses that are needed in your area — and discuss how CITC can tailor offerings to meet those needs.
