Driving the Future: Community Transit’s $250M+ Transformation -- Investments for a Sustainable Snohomish County

Community Transit is transforming Snohomish County’s transit system to keep pace with the County's rapid growth. The agency continues to expand its Swift Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) network, bringing the service to more communities and ensuring that transit remains a reliable alternative to driving.

At the same time, Community Transit is upgrading its facilities to accommodate the transition to a fleet of zero-emission buses. This ambitious transformation will also necessitate significant investments in expanding the agency's transit bases to support the growing service network. These strategic improvements are setting the stage for long-term success, creating exciting opportunities for design firms and general contractors to be part of a forward-thinking, sustainable transit infrastructure.
